Feeling like your business blends into the crowd?

Struggling to find the confidence to stand out?

I get this question from clients ALL the time, “How do I stand out when there are so many people who do what I do?”.

Yes, there are endless options when it comes to choosing an accountant, a personal trainer, or a chiropractor… so why should any potential customer choose you?

This is also a common ‘roadblock’ question for individual consultants selling the same products as many others such as, doTerra, personal trainers or bookkeepers.

However, there is good news!

Are you paying attention?

Ok, here comes ‘Good News Number 1’…

People buy from people.

You’ve heard that a thousand times – but have you actually let it sink in and influence how you operate?

– How often have you picked one service over another because you liked the person you were dealing with?

– How many times have you paid that little bit extra for a service or gone out of your way to a certain cafe because the barista remembered your name?

You buy from people you like, know and trust – your clients are the same.

This means it’s your job as the person marketing and promoting your business to make sure you are being real when marketing and in client interactions so that your potential customers can connect with YOU.

And this leads perfectly into ‘Good News Number 2’…

“People don’t buy WHAT you do, they buy WHY you do it”. – Simon Sinek.

Do your potential, and even your current, clients know why you sell those Arbonne products or why you chose to be an accountant?

For them to choose you, they need to know you are a person and that you believe in what you are doing or selling.

What gets you out of bed in the morning? Why do you love what you do? Why is it important? What are the success stories that motivate you to keep going?

Once you share your story, your WHY, the right customers will connect with and buy into that – not just your product.

If they don’t know your story, it’s just another product or service and they could get that from a million other people – but those million other people wouldn’t be YOU.

So – what makes you unique? How can you use that to direct your marketing and build your own self-confidence in what you do?

You are unique and you have a special gift to share with the world. But sometimes it takes an outsider to help you uncover it!
